Best Damage Dealers
This guide will rank the Damage Dealing Arcanists based on their ability to deal damage, of course, while also taking into account their flexibility in different teams. By taking these two into consideration we will separate the damage dealers into several tiers, starting from S Tier to D Tier.

S Tier Damage Dealers
The best Damage Dealers currently present in the game. Some notable names include Centurion, Jessica and others. See the full list below:
Centurion
One of, if not the best Damage Dealer in the game for new players. Centurion offers a wide range of diversity in her kit, allowing her to be strong both against single targets and numerous enemies. Her I3 supplies her kit with self-sustain making her a great choice for beginners!
Eternity
With her Insight passives, Blood of Longevity/Immortal, and Ultimate, Eternity serves as a formidable DPS character that is difficult to kill. Together, these abilities allow her to deal great damage and have strong self-healing.
Liliya
The highest Damage Dealer character in the game. However, although Liliya can dish out a lot of damage, she is somewhat limited by her Crit Rate requirements, making her need quite a bit of investment before she can reach her potention. But when she does, she's amazing!
Jessica
The character releasing in the second phase of Version 1.2, Jessica is an amazing DPS focusing on [Poison] to deal a large portion of her damage, as such, if you already have Sotheby she will be a great addition to play alongside her.

A Tier Damage Dealers
The Arcanists present in the A Tier don’t quite match up to the ones in S Tier, however, are still able to hold their own, and if you do not have any of the characters in the S Tier can offer a great investment.
A Knight
A Knight was the first release limited character for Reverse: 1999. Being of the Spirit type, he is unlikely to get the +30% DMG Bonus against weak types, however, this also means that it is hard for him to be at a disadvantage as well, making him easy to fit into many teams.
Regulus
Regulus shines in Crit based teams, and can both work as a Damage Dealer and a support. While not a designated Damage Dealer, her ability to dish out damage while also offering a lot of support for the team while being AP generous as well makes her a great pick.
Melania
The first limited character of Version 1.1. Melania is a character whose main damage potential lies in her Ultimate, as such she is quite AP hungry and can be a hard choice for most new players. Finding a good team for her, while also needing to play in a specific way to reach her maximum potential make her a bit harder pick than the above characters.

B Tier Damage Dealers
Slightly weaker than the A Tier Arcanist. If you have any of the above tier characters they might prove to be a better investment, but that does not mean that characters in the B Tier aren’t worth investing into, if you like the characters.
- Druvis III
- Charlie
- Blonney

C Tier Damage Dealers
They are outshined by the upper tiers and might not be the best characters to use your resources on. They can do damage in certain specific scenarios, but require a lot of investment to be viable.
- Sweetheart
- Satsuki
- Eagle
- Pavia
- Rabie
- Leilani

D Tier Damage Dealers
This Tier features the weakest Arcanists from the Damage Dealers. In the current state of the game there are way better choices to spend your resources on and the characters here are honestly not worth the investment in their current state.
- Matilda
- Mondlicht
- Bunny Bunny
