Major quality-of-life changes are also being presented for the competitors themselves, as they will have access to more warm-up rooms and a new player lounge area, as well as dedicated huddle spaces for teams in between matches.
Riot Games seems dedicated to not only supporting the esports scene but also providing even more avenues of growth and success, enabling competitive players to engage in suitable conditions that allow them the space to excel and provide a riveting performance for many fans to watch and enjoy.
Formerly the LEC Studio, the new Riot Games Arena in Berlin will predominantly serve as the new home for the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) and Valorant Champions Tour EMEA (VCT EMEA). Additionally, the venue will be able to remotely facilitate events for other esports events, including VALORANT Challengers Ascension, VALORANT EMEA Game Changers, EMEA Masters, and Team Fight Tactics (TFT) events.
It will be interesting to see even more coverage for Valorant and Teamfight Tactics, as League of Legends has been the predominant face of Riot Games esports, hopefully, this will shine a light onto the other games which also have quite a fierce and exciting competitive scene.
