Should You Pull for Vivian in ZZZ?

This piece will cover my thoughts on the new S-Rank Agent, Vivian, and whether you should pull for her.

Vivian is finally here, and honestly, I feel great about her. I do think that the game has seen an abundance of Anomaly units, but expanding the Anomaly roster is in no way a bad thing, and keeping all of the previous units relevant with the introduction of further units is something that I generally support. Which is also why I like Vivian so much, as she not only functions as a stand-alone unit but also serves to bring new life into the Anomaly archetype.

Is Vivian Strong

Vivian is quite strong, but she’s not that strong by herself. What I mean by this is that Vivian requires a good set of teammates who can proc her unique [Abloom] effect in order to increase the whole team’s damage. If we draw the line, most of Vivian’s usability comes strictly from this Abloom effect, which can double, and sometimes even triple, the damage that your other Anomaly units do. It is that great. Pair Vivian with Jane, and you’re instantly increasing the whole team’s damage output by at least 30% thanks to the Abloom procs. The same goes for Yanagi and any other Anomaly agent. Hell, even Piper greatly benefits from those Abloom procs.

In short, Vivian is a great unit to pair with other Anomaly Agents. She has decent damage herself, but when combined with an Anomaly agent that can trigger high Anomaly effect, you get an amazing combo that can surely stand the test of time.

Should You Pull

I honestly think that Vivian is quite a good investment. This is so because she is a unit that opens up other units. She can greatly increase the power of any other Anomaly unit, making her a character that will likely be used for the foreseeable future due to the way she brings new life into old agents. In addition, her Abloom effect is universal and only requires Anomaly procs to function, so Vivian will likely have a spot on many Anomaly teams in the future thanks to the sheer damage that Abloom can dish out.

I firmly believe that units that open up other units and benefit the rest of the team rather than themselves are great units to pull for, as these units just age like fine wine rather than being forgotten in a month or two, and I think that Vivian is one of these units. This is also why I will be pulling for her. I might not use her now, but I might find a use for her in the future, and having her on my roster for the day, I feel like playing Anomaly is more than enough reason for me to pull for her! If you, too, are planning on pulling for Vivian, then I can only wish you the best of luck, and if you’re also planning on getting her signature W-Engine, then good luck with that, too. You technically only need two pulls for both!
