Etheria: Restart is the newest gacha game coming out in just a few weeks and is shaping up to be one of the bigger releases of 2025. The game offers a plethora of characters to choose from, and with its stunning visuals and turn-based gameplay, it is sure to become a main game for a lot of people in the field. However, with new gacha games, there always comes the question of which units are the best and which units you should aim for when rerolling. In this piece, we’ll talk a bit about rerolling in Etheria: Restart and if it’s actually worth it to reroll.

Should You Reroll in Etheria: Restart?
No, you shouldn’t. Etheria: Restart is a free-to-play, friendly game that has a generous reward system and a no-pity gacha. In addition to both of these, the game has introduced a [Selector Banner], which allows you to pick any of the game’s SSR units (except for Freya and Lian) and get them in your first 40 pulls. This banner allows you to start off the game on the right track and get some of the best units without needing to reroll and hope that you get the unit you want.
While this system is not perfect, as there is still the chance of getting the SSR unit earlier and saving some pulls, it is generally a way better way of approaching rerolling than not having this system and watching the players farm it out until they get an account they are satisfied with. While the Selector Banner almost completely removes the need for rerolling, there are still some people who might want to do it.

Why You Might Want to Reroll

If you’re still planning on rerolling despite knowing of the existence of the Selector Banner, then be our guest. While we don’t recommend rerolling, Etheria: Restart makes it quite viable to reroll. With all of the freebies the game gives out, you can reach a total of 80+ pulls in just about 20-30 minutes, which is almost enough for hard pity on the Permanent Banner. By rerolling, you might be able to easily secure an extra SSR unit copy by pulling on the Permanent Banner first and then going after Freya on her limited banner. By doing this, you can save the Selector Banner for later and focus on that when you have the extra summons and are guaranteed a unit you want.
While there is some merit in rerolling, we do not recommend it, as it can waste a lot of time, which you can spend playing the game or doing something else, but if rerolling brings you joy and you want to min-max your account from the start, then be our guest and play in the way that is most fun for you!
