The Summit Temple, a new landmark introduced in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2, might initially appear unremarkable, but it's central to many quests. Despite its importance, it remains unmarked on the map, making it tricky to locate without guidance. Notably, the Week 8 challenges feature a quest titled 'Collect weapons at the Summit Temple'. Additionally, a new NPC, Apollo—the imperious sun god and brother of Artemis—can be found here. In this guide, we'll provide detailed directions to the Summit Temple, explain how to reach it, and explore what the area has to offer in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2.

Summit Temple is a small temple complex located in the mountains on the border where the snow melts. It features beautiful Greek architecture very similar to the Mount Olympus POI, but in a smaller scale. You can find the Summit Temple Landmark northeast of Mount Olympus and south of the Grand Glacier. It is very close to the Water Shrine where Korra is located. Check the image down below for its exact location on the map.

How to Get To Summit Temple and Its Loot Table

To access the Summit Temple Landmark in Fortnite, simply enter the designated area, and a notification will confirm your arrival in the bottom right of the screen. If you're undertaking the 'Collect weapons at the Summit Temple' quest, you must gather 12 weapons from this location. Note that only weapons found on the ground, in chests, or dropped by defeated enemies count towards this quest; ammunition and utility items do not qualify.

For players not engaged in specific quests, the Summit Temple offers strategic advantages as a landing spot. Typically less crowded than the major Named POIs, it provides a more relaxed environment for looting. This location is particularly advantageous for those targeting Zeus' Medallion, as it allows you to approach and challenge the player who summons him with minimal detection. Here’s all the loot available at the Summit Temple:

  • 1x God Chest
  • 6x Chests
  • 4x Ammo Boxes
  • 13x Floor Loot
  • Reboot Van
  • Apollo NPC

Since Apollo was added two weeks ago, many players don't know anything about him. He will probably be featured in the Snapshot quests that will be available next week. His services offer an Epic Tactical Assault Rifle for 300 Gold Bars and a Rift service for 300 Gold bars.

That completes our guide on the Summit Temple location in Fortnite. While it doesn't have the most shiny loot, it can be a good landing spot if you want to avoid direct confrontation at the start of the game and loot in peace.
