Scribing is a brand new feature to ESO, allowing you to tweak your abilities with custom effects to alter the way you use your kit in combat. This spell design system hearkens back to the likes of The Elder Scrolls Oblivion's ability design system. Let's hope it's not quite so imbalanced in ESO!

ESO Gold Road Features:

Ithelia will feature as a forgotten Daedric Prince, recently returned to Tamriel. The consequences of this prince's return are, as yet, unknown - besides the fact that her followers are bent on returning her to her full strength by any means necessary. That surely can't be good news.

The story quests in Gold Road will be similar to Necrom and Wrothgar, meaning non-linear progression in which your choices may shape the narrative in unexpected ways.

New zone: The West Weald (as seen in The Elder Scrolls Oblivion) makes it's grand entrance to ESO. Further subzones will include:

  • Dawnwood
  • Colovian Highlands
