The First Descendant: How to Unlock Kyle

The First Descendant has taken people by storm as more and more players are logging in to try out this new free-to-play co-op shooter RPG game with luscious visuals and rather simple mechanics. How to Unlock Kyle in The First Descendant

Kyle is one of the easier Descendants you can unlock as the materials needed do not require that much farming, however, there are some tips and tricks you can utilize to speed up the process. Although the game offers an even easier way of unlocking the character through real money spending (Caliber), you can also farm the needed materials through your gameplay. 

NOTE: The game shows you which missions you need to complete to obtain the needed materials listed below. You simply need to look at the research blueprint in-game for Kyle.

The First Descendant can be challenging at first, what with all of the weapons and different Descendants you can use which have their own unique abilities, however, if you are looking for a Bruiser then you are in luck as here are Kyle's abilities:

Passive Skill

 

Experienced Technician 

• Effect: Kyle acquires Magnetic Force through skills. When his shield is completely depleted, he recovers shield and Magnetic Force over a certain period of time. 

Active Skills

 

Repulsion Dash 

• Tech
• Effect: Dashes towards enemies, dealing damage and recovering Magnetic Force. 

 

Magnetic Bulwark

• Dimension
• Effect: Creates a frontal Barrier to protect against enemy attacks. Recovers Magnetic Force depending on the type of projectile blocked. 

 

Magnetism Spurt 

• Dimension
• Effect: When damaged, Magnetic Force is reduced instead of HP or Shields. After a certain period of time, Magnetic Force detonates to deal damage around him.  

 

Superconductivity Thrusters

• Tech
• Effect: Allows him to fly. When landing, deals damage in an area around his landing zone, consuming all accumulated Magnetic Force. The damage dealt is proportional to the amount of Magnetic Force consumed.
