Episode 4 "What We" will air on March 17 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time.

Okay, so I guess Rick and Michonne half-escaped? I mean, I don't think they will manage to completely escape the CRM after falling off the helicopter, especially considering the promo for Episode 4.

I'm really curious about how this detour will affect them. What about Rick's promotion? After years of hard work and following Okafor's plan, will it all get ruined now? More than anything, are they going to call Judith on the walkie?! The trailer for the next episode did hint at that, but I'm afraid to get my hopes up. I guess we have to wait and see.

Jadis and Rick: Past and Present Interactions and Relationship

The Walking Dead The Ones Who Live Episode 3 Review Episode 4 Release Date Jadis Rick CRM
AMC

I was excited to see Rick and Jadis's first interaction. Not the first in the series, but the first after she saved him from the bridge. Rick finally saw a familiar face, even though it was Jadis, and to be honest, his reactions and behavior during their initial conversation felt a little bland to me.

Even though in The Walking Dead, they weren't on the best terms, everything they have been through has created a bond between them. Of course, right now, Jadis seems to be one of the biggest obstacles for Rick and Michonne, but I can't help but think she might be more helpful than dangerous.

Hear me out; she did threaten him with killing his friends, but her behavior makes her seem like she cares. Jadis was saying how she was helping Rick only so that their deal could stay hidden, but maybe the full truth is that she looks out for him and his safety too. I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point, she lends a hand to Rick because of her fond memories with the old group and her good connections with people like Gabriel. Her affection towards some characters from TWD is evident even in the face of her current ideals.

Michonne's Bad Acting at the CRM

The Walking Dead The Ones Who Live Episode 3 Review Episode 4 Release Date Throne Trying to Kill Michonne Rick CRM
AMC

Why isn't Michonne trying harder to appear weaker and conceal her identity? I understand she might get carried away during chores, but killing a walker by throwing another walker's head at it is crazy She showcased her strengths multiple times in the episode, and it raises questions about her discretion. Rick did warn her to pretend to be weaker, considering the unknown threat of the CRM or the Civic Republic.

This lack of caution has created tension between her and Throne, who appears to be growing tired of covering for her. Some speculate Throne might have a crush on Rick, unaware she's talking to his wife. While unconfirmed, a potential love triangle involving these three characters could introduce challenging dynamics and will be tough to deal with.

Michonne and Rick Break Up Episode 3 Cliffhanger

The Walking Dead The Ones Who Live Episode 3 Review Episode 4 Release Date CLiffhanger Michonne And Rick Fall Off From Helicopter
AMC

Well, Michonne certainly isn't the type of person you can break up with, especially after she spent years looking for you. That cliffhanger was a chef's kiss. I loved how they executed it, with Michonne sending a message to Judith, letting her know they might not make it back. Being rejected certainly hit a nerve with the Michonne we know. I do understand Rick, though; everything he does is with Michonne's safety in mind.

We see that Michonne is still baffled by the CRM, and seeing Rick in this completely different light is making her second-guess his determination to leave. It is only natural that this would happen. They haven't seen each other for almost 10 years, which is much longer than the time they spent together (which is crazy to think about). I'm not going to lie; I love Rick and Michonne as individuals and as a duo, but the romantic aspect is a little off for me. I want to see more conversation between them so that they can catch up more than just making out. Thankfully, it looks like the next episode of The Ones Who Live will give us exactly that.
