TRIBE NINE: How to Unlock the Gacha

TRIBE NINE is a new gacha game released by Akatsuki Games that follows the story of TRIBE NINE, a franchise created by the creator of Danganronpa. The game offers a unique gameplay style that features both 3D combat and 2.5D open-world exploration. The art style of the game is reminiscent of the Danganronpa series, and fans of that franchise are sure to feel right at home. Having said that, at its core, TRIBE NINE is a gacha game. You’ll have to gather premium currency to use on the casino-like summoning system to hopefully get the units you like. Let’s learn more about it.

TRIBE NINE Gacha System

TRIBE NINE’s gacha is set up in a similar way to Genshin Impact. The highest star units have a 0.3% chance of appearing. Just like other newly released gacha games, TRIBE NINE features a limited banner system where you have a 50/50 chance of getting the rate-up character, and the pity system for the game currently sits at 80 for the unit banners. Overall, it is not a great gacha system, and the rates are quite low; couple this with the fact that the community is currently in an uproar due to the low rewards, and you have a recipe for disaster. Having said that, we’ll still tell you how you can unlock it if you wish to try your odds and maybe just purely enjoy the game!

How to Unlock the Gacha

The gacha system is unlocked fairly early once you start your first playthrough of the game. When first booting in, you will be greeted with a quick tutorial that will introduce you to the game and help you get up to speed with what’s going on. This tutorial takes about 30 minutes to complete, but you can always do it faster or slower depending on how you enjoy playing. After completing the tutorial, you will find yourselves in a resting area, and you will get access to the gacha system. It will be just before you start heading towards completing the [Head to the Lower Levels of 24 City] mission task.

Upon reaching the resting area, you will be given a tutorial to do a trial pull. You should note that the unit for the trial pull is pre-determined, so don’t try to reroll for it. After this, you can close the gacha window and head to your mail to claim all of your rewards. The gacha icon can be found on the top left, and it represents a claw machine.
