Valorant Patch 9.0 was released recently, along with a few very important updates and an amazing new bundle with various items, skins, animated creatures, and many other surprises. While we were still expecting the new Evori Dreamwings bundle to drop, there was a leaked video on X, which made people speculate that the new skins would be inspired by the Star Guardian skin line in League of Legends.

And they turned out to be correct. The Evori Dreamwings bundle revolves around the same color palette, and it offers some of the coolest animated creatures that reflect players' emotions and act like them to help on the battlefield. Although people love the designs and the idea, many fans describe the so-called familiars as too distracting. One of the players is the Valorant pro TenZ. Let's take a look at his comments.

Valorant Evori Dreamwings Bundle TenZ Review

Without a doubt, Riot Games is always experimenting with new concepts, designs, and animations, and we all love them for that. However, the developers of Valorant might have put a little bit too much effort into the Evori Dreamwings bundle, delivering an overwhelming amount of new content that TenZ categorized as too distracting on the battlefield.

New skins are pretty fire but my brain gets cooked whenever I use it from the overdose of animations and sounds. Need an option to turn off skins client side so I don't get nerfed in the middle of a game picking it up.

The general concept of the new Evori Dreamwings bundle is definitely loved by many players, especially considering the fact that once you buy the bundle, you get to attach your own pet-like creature to the weapon. However, grabbing an opponent's gun from the ground might turn into a hassle with all the animations slowing you down.

TenZ is definitely not the only one who thinks that Riot Games might have overdone it with the animations for the Valorant Evori Dreamwings Bundle. Many people on X and Reddit commented on the fact that although they think the animations are awesome, they can definitely be a little bit overwhelming during a game, and they need to get toned down slightly.

I initially didn't like it but it's really nice, just too distracting to be used, unfortunately.

A very large portion of the fans shared the same opinion and commented that some small adjustments to the bundle would be more than welcome. However, considering that Riot Games has put so much effort into creating the Evori Dreamwings bundle, it's unlikely that they will change the skins now. The good news is that judging from previous experience, the developers of Valorant will probably consider the current comments and make the next bundle a bit easier to handle.
