Game Changers (GC) is one of the most unique events out there, and it has been a great success from the very beginning. However, there have been some problems lately that have prevented its growth, and many professionals have been leaving Game Changers because of sustainability issues.

One of the main purposes of Valorant Game Changers is to support the players' transition from GC to Challenger's League or the International stage. There is also an in-game tournament system called Premier, and from now on, the team that meets the specific criteria will be promoted directly to the Invite decision. Moreover, the GC players will earn byes in matches outside of the Playoffs if there is a schedule conflict.

The best news so far is that all teams that qualify for the Game Changers Championship will receive an invitation to the tier two qualifier, and they will compete in their regional Challengers League. They can compete for both a GC team and a Collegiate team simultaneously. Additionally, as long as the roster consists of at least 3/5 GC pros, organizations that have a team in the Challengers or the International League are allowed to have one more team.

The Game Changers Championship 2024 will have 10 teams instead of 8, like in 2023, and the additional two spots will be taken by a second Pacific team and a third EMEA team.

Although the Valorant Game Changers 2024 is not perfect, the Riot Games team has been trying their best to improve it as much as possible.
