Valorant Patch 8.11: Neon Buffs

Valorant Patch 8.11 will offer some of the biggest buffs to Agent Neon, making her jump from a C-Tier to an S-Tier Agent. Without a doubt, this is a huge change that we don't see very often. Fans are already commenting on the fact that these improvements might make Neon impossible to beat and that she will completely take over the Valorant meta.

Yeah, I'm going to wait until actually playing but the initial impression is they overcooked with Neon lol. This Agent is going to be extremely annoying.

From June 11, 2024, Neon will be able to move side to side with the same speed as her High Gear spring speed. She will also be given two slide charges, the ability to shoot with no movement errors during sliding, and a 0.2-second re-equip time after every slide. Additionally, she will be able to execute back-to-back slides.

The Valorant community has been on fire ever since Riot Games confirmed the new buffs for Neon in Patch 8.11. Although pro gamers and players are saying that maybe her improvements are a little bit too much, other users commented on multiple platforms about how these buffs were necessary and that they are what Neon needs in order to become a playable Agent.

Neon buffs are going to turn her into the decent Agent everyone thought she would be when she was first released.

Valorant developers were quick to defend themselves, stating that they've tested the Agent multiple times and they've managed to kill her out of slide pretty regularly. So for those who are concerned that Neon might become too powerful, don't worry; these buffs aren't enough to make her unstoppable.
