World of Warcraft Season of Discovery has been a massive success so far with almost half of the player base for both WoW Classic and Retail trying to get their hands on the new runes, attempting to clear the new 10-man Blackfathom Deeps raid, or taking part in the Ashenvale PvP event. All long-time fans and newcomers are excited to unveil all of the secrets spread throughout Azeroth.

WoW SoD All DPS Builds Phase 1
DPS Balance Druid
This ranged build is currently not as strong as other more viable DPS options, but possibly in the later phases of the game, Druids will have even more damage when they have their Moonkin form unlocked.
DPS Feral Druid
One of the stronger melee DPS contenders, Feral Druids have always been a staple and a very fun build to boot.
DPS Hunter
One of the best classes for ranged DPS currently, Hunters have always dominated the charts in the early game. Despite some nerfs to their pets, this spec remains a very strong option for players wanting to top the charts.

DPS Mage
Another great option for ranged DPS players as Mages can burst down enemies in quick succession and their new runes allow for even more AoE damage.
DPS Paladin
Paladins received a lot of love in Season of Discovery so their melee DPS build is one of the best currently in Phase 1 and a lot of fun to play as well.
DPS Rogue
Not as solid as other options, this melee option lacks some of its core power due to the level cap, but you can have some fun ganking players in Ashenvale.

DPS Priest
Similar to the DPS Balance build, Priests have not unlocked their full potential and as a result, this ranged spec falls off a bit, but it should pick up in the later stages of SoD.
DPS Elemental Shaman
One of the most fun ranged DPS builds to play as Shamans have a ton of burst damage and their spell rotation can be quite rewarding to master once you get a hold of their mana needs.
DPS Enhancement Shaman
Slightly weaker in comparison to the Elemental build, this melee DPS spec can struggle in some encounters, but overall it remains a very solid pick for players wanting to smash their enemies into a pulp.

DPS Warlock
DPS Warlocks are absolute monsters in PvP and PvE with their new runes allowing them to do tons of AoE damage and remain a primary DoT spec.
DPS Warrior
Warriors are known to be one of the best melee DPS classes in WoW Classic, and although their full potential is still not unlocked in Phase 1, Warriors still pose a powerful threat in PvP and PvE.

WoW SoD All Healer Builds Phase 1
Healer Druid
The new tools Druids have for healing make them very strong, and although there are better options, you should not sleep on this build.
Healer Mage
One of the newest additions in SoD, Mages can now both heal and deal damage and their gameplay is very similar to Retail so you can try and see if this class will be up your alley.
Healer Paladin
Not the strongest healer in the game, but still very viable as the buffs can be a game changer in do-or-die scenarios.

Healer Priest
The best possible healer in Phase 1, Priests simply have everything you need for this role. Not only are they extremely good in PvE, but they can guarantee your success in PvP if you protect them.
Healer Shaman
This build is also lacking in terms of healing capabilities as Shamans do not have access to their best healing spell during Phase 1, but you can still find a lot of merit in playing as a healer.

WoW SoD All Tank Builds Phase 1
Tank Druid
Druids lack their much-needed threat generation and currently, they are not the best tank in the game, but you can still make use of them in dungeons as they will do just fine.
Tank Paladin
With Paladins finally having access to a taunt, you can now more reliably run this build and although your sustainability is not that great, you can deal a lot of damage in certain scenarios.
Tank Rogue
Another new addition to SoD, Rogues can now tank, but they are not as viable when facing spellcaster bosses as their defensive abilities mostly deal with physical attacks. A very fun way to play tank as well, but currently not as as strong as other options.

Tank Shaman
Shamans can now tank in SoD and deal burst damage as a means of generating threat, this build can hold a lot of merit as an off tank as well.
Tank Warlock
Another very exciting tank that has come to Azeroth thanks to the help of the new runes, Warlocks can now shapeshift into a fierce tank capable of dealing a lot of damage and sustaining heavy blows in the meantime.
Tank Warrior
The best of the best when it comes to tanking, Warriors have held a special place in every player's heart, and although Blizzard aims to create a diverse set of tanks that are strong in their own way, currently Warriors are one of the best tanking options.
