The first quest is called The Shadowflame Axe, which requires you to visit the Azerothian Archives to find an expert in Shadowflame. From then on, you will need to gather materials in order to be able to withstand the shadowflame and wield the weapon by creating three separate components.
Once the entire questline has been completed, we will additionally share the entire process here so that once this legendary weapon drops for you, you can easily prepare and gather all of the necessary reagents.
It seems like the drop chances will be similar to the previous Evoker Legendary Weapon Nasz’uro, the Unbound Legacy as it will be a personal loot drop, and there will be bad luck protection, meaning that if you kill the raid boss and the item does not drop, you will have a higher chance for your next attempt.

Community Reaction
Most players were concerned regarding the drop rate chances as the previous Legendary weapon in World of Warcraft was quite difficult to obtain, and now this Legendary Axe will be even more tedious as the cost of the materials is well over 1 million in-game gold currently. Some players poked fun that the item did not even have an official icon once the Raid Boss was defeated.

Once the weapon becomes available for all difficulties, players will be rushing to gather the needed reagents in order to flex on other players. The WoW devs have a lot on their plate in order to make this weapon both look cool and be very powerful.
