- Burning Blossoms–By Fire Be Blessed: Earn Burning Blossoms though completing quests and throw them into the bonfires. You'll be granted the "Fire Festival of Fury" buff (increases melee/spell critical chance by 3% for 1 hour).

- Dance Around the Ribbon Pole (and get a 10% experience buff)
- Stealing The Flames
- Fire Juggling: Seek out the Master Fire Juggler and talk to him.

For the first time ever, the Midsummer Fire Festival expands to Khaz Algar, the latest continent in World of Warcraft. Players can now honor flames in four major zones:
