WoW players are preparing for the first big patch of the newest expansion. The War Within patch 11.0.5 brings a lot of balance changes, a celebratory event commemorating 20 years of World of Warcraft, and other quality-of-life updates.
Given the size of the patch, Blizzard has released some important information for their scheduled maintenance so you can prepare for what's to come in WoW. Having said that, we will take a look at what you need to know for the release of patch 11.0.5.

WoW TWW 11.0.5 Patch Maintenance
This time around, the scheduled maintenance will last 8 hours and will affect all versions of WoW (The War Within, Cataclysm Classic, and Classic).
NOTE: All times are in PDT. Also keep in mind that the maintenance might end before the alloted timeslot or extend beyond it.
During maintenance, the servers will be down so you will be unable to play World of Warcraft.

WoW The War Within Patch 11.0.5 Changes
As mentioned above, this patch will bring forward tons of class balancing, along with racial changes to the Dracthyr so you can roll a dragonkin on new classes. The 20th Anniversary event will also feature iconic transmogs, cosmetics, and other goodies you can acquire, as well as a revival of the Blackrock Depths (BRD) raid dungeon.
