WoW TWW Liberation of Undermine Raid Tuning

Some last minute hotfixes were added just in time for the start of Season 2 of The War Within. The WoW devs are constantly looking to adjust and balance the game, and with Undermine(d) being quite the bit patch, players are happy to see that their feedback is being taken into consideration.

With that being said, we will take a look at the Liberation of Undermine adjustments for Season 2. 

Liberation of Undermine Changes

Most of the changes are targeted towards the Mythic difficulty of the raid, in preparation for the World First race to take down Gallywix.

Vexie and the Geargrinders

Mythic: 

• Backfire damage reduced by 40%
• Bomb Voyage! initial damage reduced by 19%, periodic damage reduced by 10%

Cauldron of Carnage

Mythic: 

• Blistering Spite and Galvanized Spite damage reduced by 20%
• Molten Phlegm damage reduced by 20%
• Static Charge damage reduced by 20%

Rik Reverb

• Faulty Zap duration reduced to 12 sec (was 45 sec)

Mythic:

• Lingering Voltage damage increased by 25%
• Noise Pollution damage reduced by 5%

Sprocketmonger Lockenstock

Mythic:

• Black Bloodsplatter damage increased by 200%
• Blisterizer Mk. II damage increased by 100%
• Polarization Blast damage increased by 50%
• Polarized Catastro-Blast damage increased by 120%
• Pyro Party Pack damage increased by 100%
• Screw Up damage increased by 53%
• Screwed! damage increased by 400%
• Sonic Ba-Boom damage reduced by 10%
• Voidsplash damage increased by 50%

One-Armed Bandit

Mythic:

• Electric Blast damage reduced by 15%
• Foul Exhaust damage reduced by 10%
• Pay-Line unavoidable AoE damage reduced by 15%

Mug'zee

Mythic:

• Surging Arc damage increased by 233%

Gallywix

All Difficulties:

• Canister Detonation explosion damage reduced and scaling per raid size decreased

With this batch of adjustments, we can expect guilds to struggle on Sprocketmonger Lockenstock as the damage buffs can be quite devastating given the abundance of mechanics that will result in instant wipes. Nonetheless, we might expect additional tuning as more and more players start clearing the new raid, so whether you are a competitive or casual WoW player, Season 2 will certainly shake things up in Retail.
