Many new exciting surprises await players in the next major patch for The War Within. Undermine(d) will feature a Goblin-themed experience in which players will get to get a close look at just how corrupt, crazy and outright hilarious these green greedy Goblins can be.

Having that in mind, players will get to defeat a myriad of bosses in the aptly named Liberation of Undermine raid, coming to Season 2 in The War Within. We will go over what Blizzard has provided thus far in terms of a preview, and get a glimpse at some of the rewards you will be able to get.

The Liberation of Undermine Raid

Despite the best efforts of the united cartels, Jastor Gallywix has holed himself away in the Gallagio and called every favor ever owed to him… leaving a mountain of would-be-oppressors between the goblins of Undermine and the Chrome King. Gazlowe and the rest of goblinkind will need to find their way into the Gallagio to rid themselves of Gallywix for good.

Yes, you heard that right, players will get to defeat yet another Horde Warchief as the final boss of a raid. But to be fair, Gallywix has been begging for a pounding for many expansions. Regardless, this raid has been deemed quite fun and thematic whilst also proving just challenging enough for players of all calibers.

Raid Bosses

WoW TWW Raid

With 8 different bosses, you can expect mayhem, especially the first couple of weeks as players try to navigate new mechanics, all whilst Goblins run amok with all sorts of contraptions and traps trying to prevent you from defeating Gallywix. Here are all of the bosses you can expect to fight, along with some of the mechanics you need to look out for.

Vexie and the Geargrinders

Cauldron of Carnage

  • A very fun Godzilla vs King Kong fight where both players will be navigating different mechanics from the two bosses, making sure to cleave them and avoid the incredibly bright particle effects in the middle of your screen.

Rik Reverb

  • Although this fight is not as chaotic as the previous two, you can still expect some hectic movement from all party members. You will need to be quick as the boss placec entrancing amplifiers around the yard that deal raid-wide damage.

Stix Bunkjunker

  • Speaking of fun, this encounter will certainly have you rolling on the floor (pun intended) as players will occassionally have to maneuver giant balls of garbage through Rolling Rubbish.

Sprocketmonger Lockenstock

The War Within Liberation of Undermine
Blizzard Entertainment
  • This fight features a rather tricky mechanic in which you will have to constantly be aware of your surrounding whilst navigating conveyor belts carrying explosives.

One-Armed Bandit

  • For all of the gambling fanatics, Blizzard did not skimp on the casino-themed encounters. Each pull should result in different outcomes as you can defeat and gain specific buffs aiding you in the fight.

Mug'Zee

  • A two-headed ogre fighting for control over the body certainly doesn't sound so crazy, right? Well, you're in luck as the boss has two stages packed to the brim with dangerous and challenging mechanics.

Chrome King Gallywix

  • The best for last as no one yet knows how the final boss fight of the raid will play out, but given the previous encounters, Blizzard certainly has something quite challenging in store, especially during the Mythic race.

And that covers the basic overview of what types of bosses you should expect in your first couple of runs. Liberation of Undermine certainly looks like a blast, and we might expect quite a lot more surprises further down the line.
