WoW TWW Season 2 - Best Monk Crafted Gear

With the new season for The War Within now live, players are rushing to get the best available gear for their specs, and not only are there multiple sources of acquiring new items, but the devs have also provided some very suitable options for crafted gear.

With that being said, we will go over the best choices for Monks and the embellishments to use. This guide should serve as a basic introduction for players coming into Season 2 as to which items they should prioritize as they progress into raiding and Mythic+.

Monk Crafted Gear & Embellishments

NOTE: Although this is not a fully-fledged BiS list, we will only take a look at the best crafted items you get.

As always, using Droptimizer to pick out good upgrades is the most surefire way to gear up your character as fast as possible. 

Brewmaster

Best Crafted Gear

• Adrenal Surge Clasp
• Rune-Branded Armbands

Best Embellishments

• Writhing Armor Banding

1. Adrenal Surge Clasp has a great embellishment suited for tanks so make sure to prioritize getting it as soon as possible.
2. Afterwards, you can go for Rune-Branded Armbands with Writhing Armor Banding.

Mistweaver

Best Crafted Gear

• Vagabond's Bounding Baton
• Rune-Branded Armbands
• Consecrated Cloak

Best Embellishments

• Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension
• Writhing Armor Banding

1. Rushing a weapon early into the season should net you a lot of positives, especially with Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension added to it.
2. Afterwards, you can go for a cloak or wrist item so you can add the Writhing Armor Banding to increase the effectiveness your Nerubian embellishments.

Windwalker

Best Crafted Gear

• Charged Halberd
• Non-Tier Low ilvl item

Best Embellishments

• Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension
• Writhing Armor Banding
• Elemental Focusing Lens/ Duskthread Lining

1. Your crafting priority will depend on whether you will go for raid or Mythic+ content. For raids run 2x Elemental Focusing Lens and for Mythic+ 2x Duskthread Lining or Dawnthread Lining 
2. If you are struggling to get a 678 ilvl weapon, then consider crafting Charged Halberd with Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension and another armor piece that has the Writhing Armor Banding embellishment.
