The second phase of Wuthering Waves Version 2.1 is right around the corner, and if you haven’t pulled for Phoebe and are sitting on a pile of wishes, then you might as well start getting excited, as starting this Thursday you’ll get the chance to pull for the upcoming 5-star character, Brant, and maybe get a copy of Changli while you’re at it. Both units will be available on their respective banners until the end of the Version 2.1 update, so let’s find out more about them below.

Character Banners
The second phase of Version 2.1 will feature two character banners known as the:
- Blaze Across the Deep
- Vermillion's Ploy
Both of these banners are classified as [Featured Resonator Convenes] and will feature boosted drop rates for a specific 5-star character. Both banners share the same rate-up for 4 stars and duration, so all you have to do is pick the one you wish to pull for and go for it!

Blaze Across the Deep

The [Blaze Across the Deep] banner will introduce the newly added 5-star DPS unit, Brant. He is a sword user from the Fusion element and an interesting unit to have on your roster due to his stunning airborne playstyle and, of course, looks. Brant is one of the few male units added to the game ever since its release, and while we don’t know just how well he’ll do in-game, we’re about to find out this Thursday!

The [Vermillion's Ploy] banner will give you the chance to pull copies of the 5-star unit Changli. While being out for some time, Changli still keeps a relatively high spot in the Wuthering Waves tier lists and is considered a solid Dual DPS unit. Having said that, until now, she’s been lacking a good teammate to pair with, but with the introduction of Brant, that might just change, and we can’t wait to see what teams we’ll be able to come up with after the release of the second phase banners.

Similar to the character banners, the second phase of Version 2.1 will feature two weapon banners for players to pull on. These banners both share the name [Absolute Pulsation] and will give you the chance to pull for either the new 5-star sword [Unflickering Valor] or the re-running 5-star sword [Blazing Brilliance]. Both swords are great choices to pull for if you’re planning on boosting your units, and while the Blazing Brilliance might be better for DPS units thanks to its CRIT DMG main stat, the Unflickering Valor will be an amazing choice for Brant, thanks to its Energy Regen main stat and huge buffs from its effects.
