Burnice White is the newest limited S-Rank character to be added to Zenless Zone Zero, and she is also the first Fire Anomaly Agent to join the roster. Since the release of Jane Doe, we got a taste of just how powerful Anomaly characters can be, and Burnice is no exception to that, being able to deal a ton of off-field DPS with her Burn while also shredding enemies’ HP with Disorder procs. If you happen to get her, then this guide will tell you what you need to know about building her. Let’s get started.

Burnice is a limited S-Rank Agent from the Sons of Calydon Faction. She is a Fire Anomaly character and the first Fire Anomaly Agent to be added to the game, which makes her a truly unique character. Anomaly Agents focus on building up Anomaly on enemies to proc different effects. In Burnice’s case, whenever she builds up enough Anomaly on an enemy, she procs the Burn effect, which deals several ticks of Fire DMG over a set duration. The nifty thing about Burnice is that she is not only reliant on these Burn ticks to deal damage.
Burnice has a unique mechanic known as [Scorch], which allows her to mark enemies, and whenever your allies hit a marked enemy, Burnice will be able to deal a solid amount of Fire DMG to them, which can also Crit, allowing for some amazing off-field DPS potential.
All in all, Burnice is a solid Agent for almost any team thanks to her on-field damage and decent Burn application, as well as amazing off-field damage.

Burnice Best W-Engines
When it comes to W-Engines, then Burnice’s best-in-slot is without a doubt her signature S-Rank W-Engine, the [Flamemaker Shaker]. This weapon gives Burnice a great boost in ATK%, which is essential for her damage, while also providing her with a good boost in Energy Recharge and overall DMG, and last but not least, a decent chunk of Anomaly Proficiency, which are all stats she needs.
If you don’t plan on pulling for the Flamemaker Shaker, there are also amazing F2P variants you can get just by crafting, so you don’t need to break the bank just yet!
Rank | W-Engine | Effect |
1 | Flamemaker Shaker |
While off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/s. When hitting an enemy with an EX Special Attack or Assist Attack, the equipper's DMG increases by 3.5%, stacking up to 10 times and lasting for 6s. This effect can trigger once every 0.3s. While off-field, the stack effect is doubled. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Upon obtaining the DMG increase effect, if the number of current stacks is greater than or equal to 5, then the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency increases by 50. This Anomaly Proficiency increase does not stack and lasts for 6s. |
2 | Fusion Compiler |
Increases ATK by 12%. When using a Special Attack or EX Special Attack, the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency is increased by 25 for 8s, stacking up to 3 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. |

3 | Weeping Gemini |
Whenever a squad member inflicts an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the equipper gains a buff that increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30, stacking up to 4 times. This effect expires when the target recovers from Stun or is defeated. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. |

Burnice Best Disk Drive
As far as Disk Drives are concerned, then the newly added Chaos Jazz is Burnice’s top set. There is no other set in version 1.2 that can match the effect of the Chaos Jazz, and it’s clear that it was designed with Burnice’s kit in mind, so if you still haven’t gotten around to farming for it, then now you might want to get started, as nothing really compares to it! As for the remaining two pieces, your best bet is the Inferno Metal set for the added Fire DMG boost.

Burnice Skill Priority
We hate to break it to you, but Burnice’s skills don’t directly impact her damage that much, so you can either level them up or just keep them at level 9 or 10, to save yourselves some resources. That being said, you should still level them to at least level 8 to get a good chunk of DMG increase. As far as priority goes, you want to focus on her EX Skill First, followed by her Chain, then Assist and Basic Attack, and finally leaving the Dodge for last!
