Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 is set to release tomorrow, and with it, we will finally go back to the regular banner schedule that we are familiar with. Version 1.4 certainly took us for a wild ride with two limited-time S-Rank Agents being available at the same time, but Version 1.5 will bring things back to normal, following the standard two-phase schedule. That being said, Version 1.5 shakes things up a bit by finally introducing rerun banners to the game, so there’s a lot to talk about!

Character Banners
Version 1.5 is the first version to introduce rerun banners to Zenless Zone Zero, so starting this version we can expect to have two character banners running each phase. For the first phase of Version 1.5, we will have two limited-time character banners known as:
- Thousand Melodies
- Mellow Waveride
These banners are classified as [Exclusive Channels] and will share duration, pity, and boosted drop rates for A-Rank units. You can find more details about each banner below.

Thousand Melodies will give you the chance to summon for the NEW S-Rank Support unit, Astra Yao. Astra Yao is a monster of a unit. She is the first S-Rank limited support to join ZZZ, and it shows. Not only does she give the whole team a ridiculous boost in damage with the buffs, but she is also the first character who can heal. Astra Yao is definitely a unit you will want in your collection and one that is unlikely to suffer from power creep any time soon.

Mellow Waveride is our first rerun banner in Zenless Zone Zero, and it gives you the opportunity to pull for the first limited-time character, Ellen. While Ellen has certainly been power crept with the release of Miyabi, she is still a decent Ice DPS unit that can dish out a good chunk of damage. Having said that, DPS units are the first to suffer from power creep, and this can clearly be seen with Ellen. While she is still strong, she might become obsolete in the next half a year or so, so consider that before deciding to spend your pulls on her!

W-Engine Banners
Similar to the Agent banners, Version 1.5 will feature two unique W-Engine banners. These banners will give you the chance to summon for the following S-Rank W-Engines:
- Elegant Vanity
- Deep Sea Visitor
Both W-Engines will be available on separate banners titled:
- Dissonant Sonata
- Dazzling Choir

In this iteration of the Dissonant Sonata, you will get the chance to pull for the S-Rank W-Engine, Elegant Vanity. This W-Engine is the signature weapon for Astra Yao, and it is a powerful support weapon that gives a massive 20% DMG boost to the whole team while also boosting Astra Yao’s ATK, allowing her to help out the team even more.

In this iteration of the Dazzling Choir, you will get the chance to pull for the S-Rank W-Engine, Deep Sea Visitor. This is the signature weapon for the S-Rank Agent Ellen, and it is an amazing Attack W-Engine that offers a great boost to CRIT Rate. While Ellen is the only unit that can fully utilize this weapon right now, it is still a great stat stick that you can slap on any attack unit and make it work!
