Given the incredibly high level of competition in the LCK, it seems that T1 might just not be able to qualify for MSI this year, with HLE, DK, and GEN seemingly dominating the region.

Following several weeks of matches in the Spring Regular Season, we have seen some incredible developments, and given the Fearless Draft changes that have further elevated the competitive experience for both players and fans, League of Legends Esports is looking to become quite the powerhouse.

With Fearless Draft still in play, pro players will need to constantly adapt to an ever-shifting meta and draft their way to victory. Thankfully, there will be no best-of-one (Bo1) matches for this split so all of the teams will be able to give it their all.

Format

  • 10 teams participate
  • Double Round Robin
  • All matches are best of three (Bo3)
  • Top six teams qualify for Road to MSI
  • Based on this rounds' results teams will be seeded into Rounds 3-5

Azir Azir Naafiri Naafiri
     Sylas Sylas Kalista Kalista

BFX vs HLE Picks

BFX HLE
Clear Jayce Gwen Zeus
Raptor Sejuani Xin Zhao Peanut
VicLa Taliyah Ryze Zeka
    Diable Kai'Sa Varus Viper
Kellin Alistar Rakan Delight

Winner: HLE

A very nail-biting game as despite HLE being the favorites, BFX was able to find some early kills and effectively make use of their team comp, however Zeus' Gwen and Zeka's Ryze were incredible in spite of Diable's Kai'Sa and VicLa's Taliyah.

HLE slowly started winning the team fights around objectives, slowly establishing a gold lead, with the game finally culminating due to a fantastic ultimate by Ryze teleporting HLE's carries in the Baron pit and catching BFX off guard.

BFX HLE
Clear Jax Kennen Zeus
Raptor Skarner Poppy Peanut
VicLa Viktor Sylas Zeka
    Diable Kalista Ashe Viper
Kellin Neeko Renata Glasc Delight

Winner: HLE

A good start for HLE as Zeka got a solo kill onto VicLa, and with Peanut once again setting up great ganks and skirmishes led to the First Stand winners to gain quite the advantage early on into the game. However, BFX were able to get some great picks onto HLE with Kellin's Neeko and Raptor's Skarner being qutie the powerful setup tools for Diable's Kalista to follow through.

Once again, BFX was on the cusp of turning around the game, but HLE was simply far better this time around, picking up a clean 2-0 win.
