Given the incredibly high level of competition in the LCK, it seems that T1 might just not be able to qualify for MSI this year, with HLE, DK, and GEN seemingly dominating the region.
Following several weeks of matches in the Spring Regular Season, we have seen some incredible developments, and given the Fearless Draft changes that have further elevated the competitive experience for both players and fans, League of Legends Esports is looking to become quite the powerhouse.

2025 LCK Rounds 1-2 Format
With Fearless Draft still in play, pro players will need to constantly adapt to an ever-shifting meta and draft their way to victory. Thankfully, there will be no best-of-one (Bo1) matches for this split so all of the teams will be able to give it their all.
Format
- 10 teams participate
- Double Round Robin
- All matches are best of three (Bo3)
- Top six teams qualify for Road to MSI
- Based on this rounds' results teams will be seeded into Rounds 3-5
- Top five teams will start in the Legend Group
- Bottom five teams will start in the Rise Group

A heated start to the series as both teams seemed on par up until the 20-minute mark with DK securing a bit more objectives over DRX. As the game went on, DRX was able to build small advantages with a fluctuating 3K gold lead for the top and mid laners, however, DK looked a lot more efficient with their macro. Despite DK looking better on paper, DRX was able to find even more angles to win team fights, lulling the game to a fairly even state.
After two Elder Drake fights going in the favor of DK, they were able to finally finish the game and kick off the series 1-0.

A decent start for DK following an early skirmish around the Voidgrubs, netting DK two kills. A very bloody fight around did give DRX the objective, but the combined efforts of BeryL's Rell, ShowMaker's Annie and Lucid's Lee Sin gave way to 4 more kills on the side of DK.
DRX was able to stack their up until Cloud Soul, however, DK came out on top in terms of kills as well as taking down DRX' turrets. An incredible Elder flip led to DRX winning the fight and equalizing the series 1-1.

A very bloody third game with DK leading in terms of kills, however, DRX stood their ground firmly. Despite the mishaps in the previous game, DK was able to stabilize and find great fights with Galio and Camille combo as Alistar came in clutch disabling the engage from DRX. Ultimately, DK finally broke their lose streak and got a well-deserved 2-1 win in this series.
