There are hardly any live-service games that have managed to capture the level of excitement that Helldivers 2 provides, with new weapons, armor sets, and enemy types being added every few weeks. One of these additions is the Warbonds, which is the battle-pass system of the game, providing players with new toys that can be used to create new and more interesting loadouts for the battlefield. The latest Democratic Detonation Warbond didn't only bring in some new weapons for players to use, but it also added a brand new Booster.
With the game continuing to have vague descriptions for most of its utility options, let's take a look at what the new Expert Extraction Booster does and whether or not it's worth unlocking in Helldivers 2!

Helldivers 2: Expert Extraction Booster Explained
While the description of the Expert Extraction Pilot Booster states that it "lowers the time it takes for the extraction shuttle to reach the extraction beacon," it does not really show you how much lower that time frame is.. so we tested it. The Expert Extraction Pilot Booster reduces the standard extraction time by 18 seconds, making it 1 minute 42 seconds in total. For missions that have increased call-in times, this will reduce the total time by 27 seconds.
Sadly, this effect is not as strong as some of the other Boosters in the game, as the only value it brings is right at the end of the mission. Other Boosters, such as Vitality Enhancement, Muscle Enhancement, and Hellpod Space Optimization, tend to have an effect on your entire mission, from the beginning to the end.
