Now You See Me Franchise
The Now You See Me franchise consists of three movies, with the last one scheduled to premiere in November 2025. The famous Four Horsemen were created by Edward Ricourt and Boaz Yakin, and the plot revolves around our favorite illusionists. However, they aren't just some random street magicians; through their amazing stage productions, they manage to turn even the bravest heists into reality.
Generally, the first two movies received mixed reviews, but they were both a huge box-office success. The first film even won the Favorite Thriller Movie at People's Choice Awards in 2014. Additionally, it made it to the Empire Award with a nomination for the Best Thriller category.
Now You See Me 3 Cast
It has been officially confirmed that all Four Horsemen will be portrayed by the actors originally cast for the roles: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco. This might come as a surprise to a lot of people after the sequel from 2016 gave the character of Henley Reeves to Lizzy Caplan. However, it wasn't due to a lack of interest from Fisher's side but because of her pregnancy, which interfered with the movie's schedule. Of course, actors like Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman will be returning as well.
As far as Jay Chou is concerned, he might have made an appearance in the second movie, but the producers haven't revealed any information yet about whether he'll be coming back for a third adventure. Now You See Me 3 could also use some fresh blood, so the producers announced that we'll be seeing Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Rosamund Pike on screen next year too.
Now You See Me 3 Official Release
Although Now You See Me 3 was supposed to be directed by Jon M. Chu, it was announced that he was replaced by Ruben Fleischer. The good news is that he has worked with a few of the actors already on Zombieland, so fans are not worried about the chemistry between the team.
There is currently no official information about the plot of the new movie, but we're all ready to find out more before the official release date set for November 14, 2025.
