Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is one of the most eagerly anticipated games out there, and after 15 years of waiting, the new title was finally released on November 20, 2024. When you first start your adventure, you'll go through a few introductory missions that serve as tutorials for your future endeavors.
However, even though collecting loot and rewards from the moment you launch the game can be quite fun, you won't get to keep them. In this guide, we'll show you how to hold on to most of your tutorial items in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Let's get started!

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl How To Keep Tutorial Items
Fortunately, there is a way to keep most of the items you've collected during the tutorial missions in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, but be aware that this method doesn't work for every single one of them. First, you need to find the Safe located next to the third waypoint of the Scanner. Keep in mind that before the entire process begins, you'll experience a short period of losing control, which will trigger a cutscene. If you don't want to watch it, just press the Skip button. Once it's over, simply look around, and you'll find the Blue Safe.
In case you have no idea where the safe room is, don't worry; just walk around the building and jump over all the boxes that you see in your way. This is essentially what will allow you to drop any items there, so they can be preserved for later. The limitations that we mentioned are that you can only store weapons that are broken or are about to break. Everything else will disappear once you finish the introduction.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Tutorial Items Tips
After talking to Richter and completing the Anomaly disruption tutorial, you'll be able to go back to the building and open the Safe to collect the items you left there earlier. The best news is that you'll also find all the Medkits, Food, Vodka, and Ammunition because they are part of the loot. As previously mentioned, all weapons and Relics that were in a good state will have disappeared, and there's no way to bring them back. The consumables are a good consolation prize, though, because you need them all the time.
It's important to mention that you can do the same trick with other containers in the zone, but this one is the best because it's close to the Save Point. Have fun and stay tuned; the best is yet to come! For more information about the latest gaming news and guides, you can check out the following articles:
