Fortnite: 'Somebody's planning a party in Crime City...' Walkthrough

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless  kicked off last week! As with every new season, we get a fresh Battle Pass, exciting mechanics, brand-new weapons and accessories, and of course, a set of weekly, Kickstart and a new Story quests. If you want to unlock every Battle Pass reward, the best way is to complete all available quests.

Today, a new Found Quest has been added: ️ "Somebody's planning a party in Crime City...". Completing this quest rewards you with an entire level, but there are no clear instructions on what exactly to do. Don't worry! This guide will walk you through everything you need to complete the quest quickly and efficiently.

How to Complete 'Somebody's planning a party in Crime City...' Found Quest

To complete this quest, you first need to find out who is planning the party. Everybody knows that the person of interest is Big Dill. However, there's currently a bug where the quest doesn’t start for some players once they arrive at the location.

'Somebody's planning a party in Crime City...' Found Quest Not Starting – Fix

Since last week’s Found Quest had a similar bug, I tried starting a Ranked Battle Royale game, but that didn’t fix the issue. What worked for me was restarting Fortnite and going into Unranked Zero Build. The whole point is to restart the game and switch to other mode you haven't tried yet.

Once I landed in Crime City, I immediately received the message:
"Talk to Big Dill about the party 0/1."

Additionally, you must be at Stage 3 of the "Wanted: Joss" Story Quests, which says:
"Help Big Dill with the party."

Since both quests take place at the same location, it's best to complete them together.

Step-by-Step Guide to Completing the Quest

• Talk with Big Dill – You'll now have a 'Continue' option when you interact with him.
• Help Big Dill get the Party Started – To complete this stage, interact with four items. They're all in the same building. (Check the images below to see what they look like.)

• Report back to Big Dill – After interacting with all four items, talk to Big Dill again, and both quests will be completed.
