How to Complete Every 'Balance of Power' Mortal Kombat Quest in Fortnite

The Fortnite x Mortal Kombat collaboration started last week, and today, the third and fina questline has been unlocked—Balance of Power. If you’re missing XP for any reason, these quests are a great way to boost your XP gain and grab those missing levels.

In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to complete every quest from the third and final Mortal Kombat questline, Balance of Power, in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2.

Just like the previous questlines, there are six quests in Balance of Power, and completing each one rewards you with 30,000 XP. Most of them are straightforward and can be completed in a single match. Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing them all:

Hit an opponent with an entire combo using a Kombat Kit

For the first quest, you need to hit an opponent with a full combo using any Kombat Kit. This means landing all the combo’s attacks and abilities without missing. If you miss an attack, you’ll have to start the combo over from the beginning.

Land at the Living Forest at the start of a match

In this quest, you just need to land at the Living Forest at the start of a match. Check the image below to find its location on the map.

Eliminate players at Shogun's Arena

This quest requires you to eliminate 2 players at Shogun’s Arena. The arena appears as a flying island once the 4th Storm Circle begins to close. Eliminate two players there to complete the quest.

Outlast players while carrying a Kombat Kit

To complete this quest, simply carry a Kombat Kit and outlast a total of 100 players across matches. You don’t need eliminations—just stay alive longer than others while holding the kit.

Hit an opponent with a Kombat Kit signature move within 5 seconds of using a Kombat Kit ability

For this one, you need to hit an opponent with a Kombat Kit’s signature move (right-click) within 5 seconds of using another Kombat Kit ability. Signature moves include things like the ice slide uppercut or Scorpion’s hook.

Brutality – Eliminate an opponent after dealing damage to them with both Kombat Kits

In this final quest, you’ll need to damage an opponent using both Kombat Kits before eliminating them. First, hit them with one Kombat Kit, then switch to the other and land another hit. Once you’ve damaged them with both kits, finish them off to complete the quest.
